Additional Acura Applications for Honda Filter

In addition to being used in the Honda Civic HX 1996-00 (M4VA), this cooler return filter also fits the Acura MDX 2003-07 (MDKA, BDKA, BYFA), and the Acura RL 2005-07 (MJBA).

This round cartridge filter was first used in the 1996 Honda Civic HX with a CVT transaxle, and we cataloged it for the 1996-2000 Civic HX. This same filter is also used in the Acura applications listed above.

These additional applications have been added to the part description and will be reflected in the next catalog.

E4OD / 4R100 Forward Clutch Drum

Ford E4OD / 4R100 forward clutch drum, 4 clutch pack type, 1989-98. Version with long center splines.

This aftermarket replacement item is an early version E4OD type drum with long center splines. This version was discontinued by Ford and replaced with a short center spline type, while retaining the same OEM part number. For the purposes of durability and strength, the industry prefers the long spline version. This drum fits and functions correctly in all E4OD and 4R100 applications from 1989-98.

This new Master Kit is for all wheel drive applications. It complements existing Axiom Master Kit # 134006, which is for rear wheel drive applications.

The difference between the two kits is the 2nd clutch and 2nd coast clutch. The AWD units have larger diameter clutches in these two clutch packs.

The new clutches for AWD are one-sided frictions, as are all of the frictions in the 5L40E transmission.

They also use different steels in the Forward (Axiom # 63128A) and Low Coast (Axiom # 63132A) clutch packs, which we do have available separately.

We will offer a kit for the other three models as soon as the Reverse Brake clutches become available.

5L40E 4WD Bonded Clutch Piston Kit

Bonded Clutch Piston/Seal Kit, 5L40E 2001-up (4WD) This kit contains nine bonded clutch piston/seals, and is for 4WD applications. It complements Axiom part number A134960K, which is for 2WD applications.The 5L40E has nine clutch packs and nine corresponding bonded clutch piston/seals. Seven of the nine piston/seals are the same in the 2WD and 4WD applications.However, the 2nd clutch and the 2nd coast clutch piston/seals are larger in diameter in the 4WD units. TranX 2000 Update Processor

This processor updates the TranX 2000 to enable it to analyze over 30 additional transmissions. We are pleased to announce the EXCLUSIVE availability of the latest update for the TranX 2000 transmission analyzer from Zoom Technology. We are currently the ONLY supplier in the market to offer immediate delivery of this update. The updated processor, Axiom part number TX2006A, replaces the existing processor in the TranX 2000 to enable users to test many additional transmissions.The new TX2006A processor adds analysis capability of over 30 additional transmissions to your TranX 2000, including the Chrysler 45RFE and the Ford 5R55W/S/N. It also updates the A604/A606 test for better operation.The updated processor supports existing test codes and cables, plus will now allow the TranX 2000 to accept over 30 new cables introduced through 2007 (ask your Axiom salesperson for cable part numbers and availability).No other modifications are needed to either the controller or the interface to update the TranX 2000 with this new processor. It does, however, require a one-time calibration. If you do not already have a TranX calibrator, you will need to order Axiom part # ZCAL.The ZCAL will calibrate multiple TranX 2000 units with new processors (for multiple-shop owners, for instance), but again, the one-time calibration is necessary.With the updated processor, the TranX 2000 is capable of shifting late model transmissions. It can handle late model transitional shift states, and sequential shifting transmissions. It also has improved frequency control for newer transmissions. Ford 4R100 Race Conversion Kit

Ford 4R100 Race Conversion Kit, 5 Clutch Direct Clutch Drum, Diode to Sprag (2 pieces). This aftermarket kit contains the inner washer and inner race for the direct drum. Complete valve body assembly with tested solenoids for the 2nd design, L1992-up Saturn TAAT. This RECON™ brand remanufactured valve body has been specially built to address the following common failure areas and complaints:• Poor line pressure rise• Oil cross leakage• Spring breakage• Blown filters• Delayed and/or harsh reverse engagements• Soft shifts• Clutch failureSpecial steps are taken in the remanufacturing of these valve bodies to ensure quality and reliability. Each valve body is completely disassembled and cleaned using pressurized solvent, and all mating surfaces of the valve body housing are block-sanded to ensure flatness and to prevent cross-leaks.The hydraulic integrity of each valve body is restored by reaming the pressure regulator valve bore and installing a Sonnax wear-resistant aluminum sleeve. A new Sonnax pressure regulator valve and cushion spring are installed, plus a new Sonnax boost valve and sleeve. All gaskets are replaced.Upon assembly, each valve body and solenoid assembly is tested hydraulically and electronically using the Answermatic VBT4000 and the Tranx 2000. They are shipped with the tested solenoid assembly, the manual valve installed, and the rooster comb detent spring attached.

Honda Civic Kits, 2001-Up

Master kits for the 2001-up Honda Civic, with transaxle codes BMXA and SLXA. Axiom kit # 90006H with steels, # 90004H without steels. These "H" kits will interchange with the Axiom "D" kits for the 1996-2000 Honda Civic, Axiom # 90006D and # 90004D. Technically, the "D" kits are for 1996-2000 and the "H" kits are for 2001-up. However, both will work on 1996-up transaxles. The difference between the "H" and "D" kits is in the friction plates. Both the "H" and "D" kits contain the OEM friction plates for their respective year coverage.The "D" kits contain Borg-Warner grooved frictions, # 60100B, which were the OE plates from 1996-2000.The "H" kits contain segmented frictions, # D90100, which are the OE plate for 2001-up.Both friction plates are tan material and dimensionally the same.

Converts 1989-95 A604 transmission cases to the hard-to-find 1996-up cases! A604 late model cases with an internal MLPS/DTR are more difficult and expensive to find than the early cases.
