Transtar Hosts Customer Appreciation Day

Transtar Industries, Inc., the premier provider of world-class driveline solutions, invited their Cleveland area customers to a very special event, held at their headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio last month. On June 11, 2009, customers were able to tour the offices, warehouse, and observe the assembly of Transtar’s flagship product, premium Rebuilder Kits.

Transtar’s very first customer, Bob Gerberich of Wadsworth Transmissions, was among those in attendance. “Mr. Gerberich has been a loyal customer of Transtar from the very beginning,” Greg Gyllstrom, President and CEO, said. “It was an honor to meet him as well as all of the customers who attended our event.”

“It was wonderful to be able to express our appreciation to so many customers at once,” states Neil Sethi, Group Vice President, Transtar Distribution Group. “Meeting customers in a more personal setting gives us the unique opportunity to really delve into the issues that they are facing today, and optimize driveline solutions to meet their changing needs. It is vitally important for us to continue to stay close to our customers and to understand their businesses in order to be a true partner. This has been a core value of our company from our beginning almost 35 years ago.”

After the tour, customers were treated to a delicious meal served by members of the sales team and support staff, and each customer received a bag full of gifts in appreciation of their business. One lucky customer, Gary Early from Transmission Barn in Wellsburg, West Virginia, won the grand prize, a Tom Tom GPS unit. Gary drove over 125 miles to attend this event on the day before his birthday, and he was very glad that he did! Customers were enjoying themselves so much that most of them stayed well into the evening conversing with the sales staff and management team, learning all of the reasons that they can Count on Transtar to be their partner in business.
