The programming sequence and fast learn procedure must be done prior to driving the vehicle. You must reprogram the ECM and TCM using the programming sequence procedure to assure that both the ECM and the TCM have the updated software. This can be done using an approved SAE J2534-compliant programming Interface and a current subscription to TIS2WEB or at any GM dealership. Select the "Replace and Program ECU" option to ensure programming is completed correctly. Failure to do so could void your warranty.
