A604 and A606 Converters with Grooved Friction Material (EMCC1)

Now available for your 2003 and newer Chrysler passenger car applications, requiring EMCC1 friction material, are the CR0621 and CR0923. The CR0621 is for A606 applications and the CR0923 is for the A604 applications. Chrysler EMCC1 material is also referred to as "grooved" material. As these vehicles are calibrated from the factory to work with the EMCC1 material, it is necessary to install either the CR0621 or CR0923 to prevent chatter/judder during clutch apply.
