The premium rebuilt valve body for the Chrysler 48RE is a 46/47RE valve body that has been converted by Sonnax to fit all 48RE applications from 2003-Up. It can also be used for slight performance upgrades on 46/47RE applications. When using in the 46/47RE applications, however, a triple-plate converter must also be used. This valve body has been 100% tested to ensure pressure curves and timing match the OE design and is great for pressure and lockup upgrades in 46/47RE applications.
