Transtar part number 25006 contains all the sealing components, friction plates, and steel plates to overhaul the VW 02E Transaxle. This unit is called a "dual clutch" or a "direct shift" gear box. It has a wet clutch consisting of two clutch packs in place of the normal clutch set up on a standard transmission. This unit is found in various Audi and VW models beginning in 2003.
