  • Berkeley Standard warrants covered transmission parts to be free of all defects in material and workmanship for the period stated below.

    - Berkeley Standard will provide Transtar with a 1 year, unlimited mileage warranty for non-commercial use of remanufactured or new parts from time of installation.

    - Berkeley Standard will warranty commercial product use to the lesser of 1 years or 25,000 miles. Berkeley Standard will warranty used parts to the lesser of 3 months or 8,000 miles.

    - Berkeley Standard is excluded from any liability under this warranty in case of the following:

    a. Repairs necessitated by use other than normal foreseeable product-specific use.

    b. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, non-recommended fluids, or improper installation.

    c. Corrective work necessitated by repairs made by anyone other than an authorized service technician.
