  • Transtar's limited warranty: products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of purchase, whichever occurs first.

    Any manufacturer, third-party, extended warranties, or limited lifetime warranties, should be handled through the manufacturer. Click here to view Transtar's limited warranty policy.

  • Whenever possible it is highly recommended that you use OE fluid. If that is not possible always try to follow the manufacturer’s suggested fluid type. Your Transtar sales representative can help you find the recommended fluid for the job.

  • Unless the manufacturer recommends synthetic fluid; switching to synthetic is not recommended as the transmission has been designed to operate with the OEM specified fluid.
